Who we are
Newron Pharmaceuticals S.p.A. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of novel therapies for patients with diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system.
Founded in 1999, Newron is headquartered in Bresso, near Milan, Italy, with a subsidiary in Morristown, NJ, USA.
We have built a late-stage pipeline that currently includes one marketed product and wholly-owned product candidates in clinical development.
In addition to Xadago® for Parkinson’s disease, Newron has a strong pipeline of promising treatments including Evenamide as the potential first add-on therapy for the vast majority of schizophrenic patients who are poor responders or treatment resistant to their current anti-psychotic therapy, including clozapine.
What we do
Newron is committed to developing novel therapies for patients with diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system. We are looking to build our portfolio of products through in-house efforts as well as licensing and acquiring novel CNS compounds at various stages of development.
